Education and Community Partnership Program

Aptus has partnered since 1981 with the Toronto District School Board, in offering supported learning, within the Education and Community Partnership Program (ECPP), also known as Section 23 programs. In 2008, Aptus opened a school in York Region, in partnership with the York Region District School Board.   

Children perceived as hard to serve within the school boards’ mainstream or high-needs classrooms have been referred to Aptus for specialized support and skill building.  The schools support 48 students from ages 4 to 21.
