Community-Based Activities & Respite

Aptus offers community-based activities:

Aptus Teaching Landscape – a 4-acre community space connected to Aptus’ Toronto School and Downsview’s Anthony Road Park. Annually, over 2000 people enjoy access to community gardening, recreation and events.


Traditional Day Supports – daytime supports with an enhanced focus on community-based programming, including: daily walks, volunteering, accessing education, fitness programs, achieving goals or dreams, creative pursuits and skill building.


Respite – including in-person day supports, camp programs and virtual respite. Camps include Summer and March Break Camp for children and youth.
