Assist staff with special projects and general office administrative duties. Applicants must possess accurate word processing skills and good working knowledge of the internet and Microsoft Office.
Interact with the people we serve. Organize and participate in individual or group play and recreational activities in one of our day programs or help our residents during outings. There are many ways one can make a difference through assisting with program activities.
Help by participating on a fundraising event. Be on the forefront of the planning process by helping with advertising, seeking out sponsorships, gift-in-kind and generating ticket sales.
Volunteer at our annual 2-week summer sensory camp where you will help the people we serve have the true day camp experience.

We first ensure that the program you have chosen to volunteer in will be able to meet the needs and goals that you hope to achieve. We invest in our volunteers through orientations to set you up for success, understand about Aptus’s culture, provide you with the tools and resources that you will need and limit risk. Supervisors who support volunteers are engaged, professional and dedicated to ensuring each volunteer has a positive professional work environment

Step One: Application
Complete and submit an application form for the opportunity that interests you.
If invited, submit your resume and cover letter expressing your interest in volunteering
Please be advised that only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. Successful completion of the application process and participation in an interview does not guarantee a volunteer placement.
Step Two: Interview and Compliance Requirements
If you are selected for an interview, upon successful completion you will receive the necessary documentation required to complete the following:
Step Three: Orientation and Position Specific Training
Once the compliance requirements outlined in step two above are met, you will attend a mandatory orientation session and position specific training prior to the start of your volunteer position.
